How long is the Childosophy Wellbeing Practitioner Course?

The exact length of the course may vary, but it typically spans several months. It is designed to be comprehensive and immersive, ensuring you acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to work effectively with children.

 

How much does the course cost?

The Childosophy Practitioner Training cost is $4,400.00. A $$1,000 deposit is required on registration to secure your place. This course cost is same for the complete online option or the in person option. If you have specific questions regarding pricing and payment options, it is recommended to contact the Childosophy team directly at hello@childosophy.com, they will provide you with up-to-date information on the course fees and any available discounts or instalment plans.

 

What will I be able to do as a certified Childosophy Wellbeing Practitioner?

As a practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with children, parents, and families in a holistic and transformative way. You will apply the Childosophy philosophy and techniques to support children's wellbeing and promote harmonious growth. This may involve identifying unmet needs beneath common childhood issues and challenges in children and families, facilitating healing and rebalancing, and providing guidance and support to promote overall wellbeing.

What qualifications or background do I need to have to enroll in the course?

The Childosophy Wellbeing Practitioner Course is open to individuals with backgrounds in the wellbeing field. Our students include teachers, counsellors, yoga teachers, OT's, Psychologists, Early Childhood Educators, kinesiologists and parents with a passion for working with children. The course is designed to provide a unique and holistic perspective to offer comprehensive support to the children and families you work with.

 

Will I receive a certification upon completion of the course?

Yes, certification as a Childosophy Wellbeing Practitioner is awarded upon completing the required coursework to a satisfactory level. Certification represents that you have completed the training and are ready to work one-on-one with clients and families.  Certification does not guarantee expertise in all facets of the broader Childosophy frameworks of parenting or educational teachings.  In conjunction to your certification, joining our Practitioner Directory is recommended. To be eligible for the Practitioner listing you must have a certificate of completion and also have submitted a case log of 7 sessions. 

 

What are the copyright restrictions for Childosophy content?

The copyright for all Childosophy content is owned by Dr. Maxine Thérèse, and all rights are reserved. No part of any Childosophy content, including text, images, illustrations, photographs, logos, or video, may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted without prior written permission. For permission requests, you can write to hello@childosophy.com. We have a media pack for those who have trained  with approved  content.  

 

Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my enrollment?

The fees paid for the course are generally not eligible for a refund. However, if illness, emergencies, or extraordinary events arise during the course that hinder your ability to continue attending, you may have the option to transfer to a future course session, depending on availability. Refunds in such cases will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

 

Is the course available online?

Yes, the Childosophy Wellbeing Practitioner Course is available online. You can experience a comprehensive exploration of Childosophy from the comfort of your own home. The online format allows for flexible learning, where you can tailor your study schedule to fit your lifestyle. Live sessions with Dr. Maxine Therese are also hosted each month to provide valuable feedback and engage with the Childosophy community.

What if I choose to attend the course in person?

Even if you choose to complete the course in person, there is a required online component to ensure you can integrate and make the most of the in-person experience. Before attending the in-person days, you will receive a handbook with important information and prerequisites that are completed online prior to the in person training days to help you prepare and engage fully in the learning experience.

 

What resources and materials are included in the course?

The course includes complete training either in person or online, all tuition and course materials, practitioner handbooks and manuals, a copy of Dr. Maxine's books, video webinars, audio clips, slideshows, a student Facebook group, and live webinars each month. Additionally, you will receive a chart, notes, recommended reading lists, and Children's Wellbeing Cards.

Insurance

After successful completion of the course, and you have received your Certificate of Completion, you are able to gain insurance through IICT. Insurance is eligible through IICT in these countries: Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe and South Africa.

Childosophy Practitioner Directory

Joining our Practitioner Directory is highly recommended. To be eligible for the Directory you must have: received your Certificate of Completion and submitted a Case book of 7 sessions.
